Furniture Clinic Leather Flexifil - Extremely Flexible Filler for Leather Furniture

Developed to meet the requirements of heavy usage and extreme flexing on leather, such as heavily cracked seating cushions that come under constant use, Flexifil is an immensely elastic filler that will never crack or flake out once applied to the leather. This white paste dries slightly transparent, allowing it to be easily colored over with a Leather Repair Paint to create an almost invisible repair.

Flexifil is quite viscous and self-leveling, allowing it to flow evenly into the cracks and form a strong bond with the leather. Only a small amount is required for each application, as the product will spread and fill the cracks effectively.

For best results, it is recommended to apply Leather Binder to the leather before using Flexifil, as this creates a much stronger base for the filler to adhere to. The product can be easily applied using a spatula or palette knife, with the user simply needing to lightly spread the filler over the cracked leather, following the direction of the cracks.

After allowing the product to dry, the process can be repeated until the cracks are fully filled. Finally, the surface should be lightly sanded to create a smooth finish, before applying a Leather Repair Paint or Colourant.
